A little tutorial on portrait...

My friends ask me how to do my family portraits... so here it is... very easy

things you need:
- small foam brush (you can get it in walmart or micheals)
- pre-stretched canvas (size of your choice, mine is 10x10, but there are all kind of sizes, and sometimes oval shape)
- tape
- profile picture (i took a few pictures of everyone, so i can choose which one is more fun)
-scissors
-acrylic paint (color of your choice) and a white one too

1. use white paint (they called it gesso, it is to prepare the canvas before you paint on it, but they are $$, they are a little more liquid then acrylic) so you can use normal white acrylic paint, water down just a little bit back to the process, use white paint and foam brush, coat it on the canvas twice.... so wait after 1st layer dry, then, apply 2nd layer.. wash the foam brush
2. take a few pictures, and decide which one you are going to use, hm... when you print if off from your computer... make it a desire size
3. cut out the profile pictures
4. make sure all the canvas is dry before you do this.... use tape and put it on the back of the pictures, stick it on top of the canvas....
5.use the same foam brush and brush the color paint you want over the edge of the picture and then the whole canvas... let it dry, you are done....
